Brief History of the Company/ Mission Statement
During the past five years, ESP has become the fastest growing School District Medicaid(1) Billing Agent in the country. During that same period of time, ESP has also developed the Student Tracking And Reporting System™ (STARS™), a state-of-the-art, Web-based management information system for School Districts’ Special Education programs.
Our underlying philosophy at ESP is to provide only the services and products that each of our client’s actually needs. That is why we begin each new business relationship by undertaking a free, on-site evaluation of each School District’s current level-of-compliance with all of the applicable requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) – and its current Medicaid claiming procedures. Thereafter, we provide each School District with an "Evaluation Report" that identifies any existing "gaps" or "overlaps" in its current operations – and details what will have to be done in order to resolve those issues.
All of our projects are managed by doing "Whatever It Takes"© to deliver high-quality services and products in a professional manner – and on a timely basis. That is why so many of our new clients come about as the result of referrals from our existing clients.
Although we utilize automated systems and other technologies to address the needs of our School District clients, we also believe that face-to-face meetings are a critical part of the partnership that we strive to establish with each of them. That is why we employ so many staff in each State where we work – and why we meet so often with our clients.
At the present time, we are providing Medicaid billing services to more than 1,200 School Districts in 12 States (Collectively, those School Districts have more than 500,000 Special Education students). In addition, we are also working with several State-level School Board Associations in order to identify other revenue generating opportunities for their member School Districts.
Our "Senior Staff" collectively have more than 160 years of experience with respect to the development of Medicaid claims for School Districts. In this regard, those "Senior Staff" include the following:
